2. Scope of Services

  • General Services: ROUTCA provides independent bookkeeping, financial record organization, audit preparation support, and tax preparation services.

  • No Formal Audit Attestation: Engagement of ROUTCA does not constitute an audit engagement, audit opinion, or formal attest service unless explicitly agreed upon under a separate signed engagement letter.

3. Website Content Disclaimer

The information on this website is provided for general informational purposes only and does not constitute formal tax, legal, or accounting advice. Viewing this website or submitting a contact form does not create a formal accountant-client relationship. A professional relationship is only established upon signing a formal Engagement Letter.

4. Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for providing complete, accurate, and timely financial documentation required for service completion. ROUTCA is not responsible for errors resulting from inaccurate or incomplete client-provided data.

5. Appointments, Cancellations & Rescheduling

Paid consultation fees (e.g., Tax Strategy Sessions) are subject to our standard scheduling policies:

  • Rescheduling & Advance Cancellation: Appointments may be rescheduled or cancelled up to 24 hours prior to the scheduled start time for a full refund or free rescheduling.

  • Late Cancellations & No-Shows: Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled start time, or missed appointments without notice, are subject to a $100 late cancellation fee (the remainder of the prepaid booking fee will be refunded).

  • Emergency Exceptions: Late cancellation fees may be waived at our sole discretion in the event of documented medical emergencies.

6. Engagement of Services & Professional Relationship

  • Inquiries & Consultations: Browsing this website, submitting contact forms, or participating in preliminary introductory consultations does not create an ongoing accountant-client relationship or obligate ROUTCA to provide ongoing representation.

  • Formal Engagement Letter Required: A formal professional relationship is strictly established only after:

    1. Both parties execute a mutually agreed-upon written Engagement Letter defining the exact scope, deliverables, and fee structure; and

    2. Any required initial retainer or upfront service deposit is paid.

  • Scope Limitation: Our professional duties and responsibilities extend solely to the specific services detailed in your signed Engagement Letter. Any additional work outside that scope requires a separate written agreement or addendum.

7. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
